BlackRock names CxB head for Asia-Pacific

BlackRock has  appointed Lina Lim as head of commercialization, Asia-Pacific, for Citi Portfolio Solutions Powered by BlackRock ( CxB ), effective October 5.

In this newly created role, Lim will lead the expansion of the CxB platform across Asia-Pacific, working across the business to bring BlackRock's customized investment capabilities to wealth clients in the region and deepen the offering for Citi clients. She will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to Andrew Landman and Rob Jasminski.

Treasury Case Study Series

Lim brings 30 years of experience across asset and wealth management, with a strong track record of building and scaling managed solutions platforms for clients. She most recently served as regional and Hong Kong head of discretionary, funds and ETFs at HSBC, where she led the managed investment solutions business across the full client spectrum, from retail and affluent investors to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. She has also held senior regional leadership roles at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as senior portfolio management roles at Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management.

CxB was launched in late 2025, managing approximately US$80 billion in assets for Citi’s private banking clients globally. The platform combines Citi’s investment advisory and planning capabilities with BlackRock’s investment management and technology strengths centred on a whole-portfolio approach.
