Switzerland’s Julius Baer group, the country’s biggest “pure play” private bank, has appointed Victoria McLean as its chief compliance officer and executive board member, effective end-February 2026.
McLean is a senior compliance professional with over 30 years of expertise in wealth management working in large financial services institutions with global footprints. She joins the company from Goldman Sachs, where she has served as its head of private wealth management compliance for the Europe, Middle East and Africa ( EMEA ) region since 2012, and assumed responsibility for regional country compliance across EMEA since 2021.
“Her extensive experience will be invaluable in her role as chief compliance officer,” says Stefan Bollinger, the bank’s CEO, “and she is the ideal person to drive forward our commitment to further upgrade our compliance processes throughout the organization.”
